E3 2018: Metro Exodus Gets New Trailer At Xbox Briefing, Release Date

Metro Exodus

"We know this will be disappointing news for fans, but at E3 we will be revealing lots of new gameplay from a never-before-seen environment". Wondering what the song in the new Metro Exodus trailer is? As the trailer came to a close, a confimed release date appeared onscreen: February 22, 2019.

4A Games have re-imagined the landscape of the East European plains in awe inspiring detail, including the flooded remains of villages and factories where life was forever changed 25 years previously.

Metro Exodus kicks off in the year 2036 following a devastating nuclear war, with a band of survivors barely clinging onto life in the Metro tunnels underneath the ruins of Moscow.

The new trailer showcases Metro Exodus' improved graphics, which is a nice, modern take on the originals (take note, Bethesda) and showcases a variety of the game's weapons and customisation. Players will flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an epic, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russian Federation in the greatest Metro adventure yet. Metro Exodus will set to release very early next year, on 22nd February, 2019.
