The X21 hasn't reached India yet and the new X21i will also be available only in China. The phone looks similar to vivo X21 in terms of design, and features but with few notable changes in specs.
Vivo X21i features MediaTek's Helio P60 as opposed to the Snapdragon 660 in Vivo X21. There is also a dedicated AI-focused APU. Apart from that, it shares all of its features with its predecessor. It features a 6.28-inch 19:9 notched display on the front with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It looks almost bezel-less and comes with a iPhone X-like notch at the top of the display. The bezels are pretty minimal on three sides of the display, and thereby result in an effective 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.
The phone comes with a 24-megapixel front camera and dual-rear cameras that consist of two 12-megapixel sensors. This includes beauty and scene detection modes. On the front, it has a 24MP camera with f/2.0 aperture; it comes with artificial intelligence and Vivo's own Rubiks Cube technology. The selfie snapper is backed by a wide range of software features like AR stickers, Face Wake facial recognition, AI Beauty mode and more.
Talking about specifications, the Vivo X21i runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with FunTouch OS 4.0 UI on top. The Vivo X21i comes in a variety of colors namely, Ruby Red, Aurora White and Polar Night Black. The Vivo X21i has been priced at CNY 2,698 (Rs 28,900 approximately) and it will be available in two different variants - one with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage as well as the other one with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone comes with the price tag of 2,698 Yuan ($425/ Rs 28,700 approx.) and now available for pre-orders on JD.com, Tmall, and Suning and goes on sale from May 19th.
