The ultimate HTC U12+ leak leaves no question answered

Here's the HTC U12+ specs and some gorgeous looking renders

The HTC U12+ will feature a 6-inch, Quad HD+ display. As rumors have suggested, the U12+ will have minimized bezels up front, and there doesn't appear to be a notch, either.

This week the Red Agency acting for Taiwanese phone Company HTC, threatened several media Companies in Australia with HTC oblivion, if they did not sign a none disclosure agreement saying that they would adhere to not revealing information about the struggling smartphone Companies upcoming phone ahead of the official launch. Driving all those pixels will be the Snapdragon 845 chip paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The phone looks like it will come in 64GB and 128GB configurations, with a microSD slot capable of boosting storage to 2TB. The renders show a phone with a dual-camera setup on the rear above a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, with volume rocker and power buttons on the right hand side of the phone. This time we have the full specification of the phone including images.

There are plenty of other typical HTC features in the leak, like BoomSound, Hi-Fi audio, and a focus on great camera and video quality. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a bokeh mode.

Spec sheets may give us an inkling of what features to expect from a phone, but they don't exactly explain how HTC hopes to make its device stand out from similarly-equipped flagships.

Given the OnePlus 6 is out in the wild, we wouldn't be surprised if this leak was more of a plant than a conventional leak, but maybe that's just our cynical eye.
