"Black Spire Outpost is an infamous stop for traders, adventurers, and smugglers traveling around the Outer Rim and Wild Space".
"Off the beaten path, this outpost has become a haven for the galaxy's most colorful - and notorious - characters", explains Imagineer Scott Trowbridge, supervisor of the project, on a post on the official Disney Parks Blog.
The village is called Black Spire Outpost, named for the petrified remains of its towering ancient trees.
Disney Parksannounced this week the opening seasons for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at both theme parks, with the immersive Star Wars expansion to open first at Disneyland Park in summer 2019 before its Florida counterpart opens late 2019.

The new land will include two attractions, one in which visitors will fly in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and another featuring battle with between the Resistance and the First Order.
