Samsung has seemingly confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy J6 (2018) with Infinity Display in India on May 21.
Samsung is all set to launch its first Galaxy J series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J6 2018 with a taller 18.5:9 aspect ratio display. And here for advertising Galaxy S9 the company released a new video in which he ridiculed the "Apple" smartphone. It has also revealed that the smartphone will hit stores starting from May 22. Interested users can also register on the Samsung website to be notified of the Galaxy J6 launch.
Earlier specifications of the Galaxy J6 were leaked online by SamMobile along with specifications of another smartphone called Galaxy J4. This Samsung smartphone might make use of a 5.6-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and sport slim bezels around the screen.
Under its hood, the device is believed to get the power from a Samsung Exynos 7870 SoC paired with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage space. Samsung is likely to offer the Galaxy J6 in three different storage options varying from 2GB or 3GB or 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB storage.
As far as the photography hardware is concerned, it is expected to come with a 13MP camera on the back and an 8MP front snapper. It is to be noted that the aspect ratio is similar to that of the Galaxy S9+ series. It will mostly run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box layered with Samsung Experience. A powerful 3000mAh battery with fast charging support supplies the required power for the handset. These smartphones will be mid-range devices aimed to compete with the likes of Vivo V9, Oppo F7, Nokia 7 plus and Moto X4.
