After unveiling some possible information on Resetera yesterday, Emily Rogers has taken to her personal blog to share even more details about Pokemon on Nintendo Switch. Last year, Nintendo launched the 'Project Eevee' Twitter account, which exclusively focuses on the floppy-eared Pokemon. Rumors about Pokemon Switch are running rampant, and if Rogers is correct, fans should expect news any day now.
Finally, there's the following logo, which also came via 4chan originally and translates to "Let's Go!" The Pixelpar Twitter account, which has been teasing Pokemon Switch announcements for a while now, has also been dropping hints regarding Pikachu and Eevee's prominence in the RPG. She had previously revealed that Super Smash Bros. for the Switch would be released this year (and it will), so it stands to reason that she could be right about this as well.
Rogers claims Pokemon will be influenced, in some way, by Pokemon GO, as she notes the "name" and "branding" of the game might be a shock to some. Both of these are one of the most popular IPs for Nintendo. As far as looking at the expected increase in Switch sales there is no better way to do that by launching Pokemon go to boost the sales. In a blog post she discusses the importance of Pokémon GO to the franchise, suggesting a connection between the mobile game and the upcoming entry. Could it be like the 3DS version of Pokemon except on the Switch?
