The company is now revealing the cost of the phone.

Well, the Asus ZenFone Live L1 has gone on sale in the Southeast Asian country for IDR 1,399,000, which translates to around Rs 6,750.

What we get with the Asus Zenfone Live L1 ia an Android Oreo (Go Edition) based smartphone with Android Oreo 8.1 in it.

The Android Oreo Update for the ZenFone Deluxe includes quite a few other changes apart from the usual Oreo goodies. The device comes in three different variants, 1GB/2GB and 3GB of RAM variants. On the connectivity front, the Zenfone Live L1 employs Bluetooth v4,0, WiFi, GPS, a headphone jack and a micro USB port for charging and data transfers. It is available at further discounted price of 3,999,000 (around Rs 19,250) for those participating in the flash sale on Jingdong.

This week's update not only upgrades the ZenFone 3 Deluxe to a newer Android version, it also removes some of the bloat we complained about in our review previous year, like the Do It Later and Quick Memo apps.

Let's take a quick look at the Zenfone Live L1 specs.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ IPS FullView display coupled with 2.5D glass and offering a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, 450 nits maximum brightness, 83 per cent screen-to-body ratio and 85 per cent NTSC color gamut. An Android Go phone coming with 18:9 display will be something interesting to see. Because the Android Go is designed for smartphones with very low resources. The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo topped with ZenUI 5. This is for the 1GB RAM model. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, the device can be obtained with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
