Could Rocksteady Be Announcing Their Rumoured Superman Game Soon?

Since the conclusion of the highly regarded Batman: Arkham series in 2015, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next project by developer Rocksteady. Metropolis is a big open world, in terms of size it is 3 Times the size of the Batman Arkham Knight with a lot more buildings, and everything will be semi-destructible buildings will fall out just like in the case of Arkham Knight.

The game is being developed on the Unreal Engine 4 and is set in Metropolis. It would also be set within the same universe as the Arkham games and its main villain would be Brainiac.

As for the combat system, the source compares Superman's in-game flight ability to that of Dragon Ball Z, claiming "you can punch someone then zoom towards them and repeat". The game does feature many easter eggs for Superman's lore and mentions of the events that took place in Gotham.

The post itself also had a piece of concept art featuring Superman and if the fact that this was a post on 4chan and not a legitimate source wasn't enough to throw doubt about this rumour, the image shared with the concept art was created by Charles Logan, an artist, who posted it to his ArtStation account three years ago. Rocksteady revolutionised the Superhero game genre with the Arkham series and we are really hoping they do the same for Supes, especially since his game track record has been a left lacking in many (most) respects. The priority, however, is Superman: the title, according to the leak, should be presented with a teaser a few weeks before the E3 2018, and then will receive a full reveal at the fair of Los Angeles.

The latest rumours surrounding Rocksteady's next project stems from a post on 4chan, which naturally means that it should be taken with a grain of salt.

This also isn't the first time that a 4chan user has claimed a Superman is on the way. Do you think Rocksteady Studios will announce such a title?

As always, do let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
