Andres Iniesta says he will most likely retire from global soccer after Spain plays at the World Cup.
"There are two scenarios, China or Japan, and each has its advantages", he told Spanish radio Onda Cero.
Earlier it became known that Andrés Iniesta, who has spent his entire professional football career at Barça, will part ways with the Catalan giants at the end of this season.
Iniesta, 34, will bid farewell to Barcelona when he plays his final game for his boyhood club on Sunday against Real Sociedad.
Iniesta has made 43 appearances in all competitions this season, helping Barca win La Liga and the Copa del Rey. "If I had chose to continue playing for Barcelona, then I would want to continue playing with Spain".
He's had a hugely successful career both at club and global level, lifting the World Cup along with the Champions League four times.
Eighteen people were reported injured while watching Andres Iniesta's television interview in Barcelona on Tuesday.
Iniesta was not hurt in the incident in Barcelona at a municipal soccer field, where a television producer set up the seating for spectators to watch the interview.
According to Barcelona city hall, 11 persons, including two minors, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of varying bruises, while others were treated on site.
