Between CBS Sports Network and ESPN networks, 44 football games will be distributed nationally this coming season on various platforms. The Cowboys will have three national appearances at home and two on the road.
Five Wyoming football games will be shown on national television during the upcoming 2018 college football season.
In addition to the television announcement, Nevada also announced that the season-opener against Portland State will be played on Friday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.at Mackay Stadium.
The season begins with a nationally-televised MW matchup on August 25 between Hawai'i and Colorado State in Fort Collins, broadcast by CBS Sports Network.
Fresno State, fresh off a 10-win season, will make seven different appearances on ESPN.
The nationally televised home games are vs. Washington State (Sept. 1, 1:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network); vs. Boise State (Sept. 29, 5 p.m., CBS Sports Network); and vs. Air Force (Nov. 17, TBD, on one of the ESPN networks).
Wyoming will be featured on CBS Sports Network three times and ESPN Networks twice. Kick times and specific outlets for the remaining ESPN games will be determined during the course of the regular season (generally a 12-day window).
Additional telecasts by AT&T SportsNet, Spectrum Sports (for select Hawai'i games) and Stadium will be announced at later dates.
