Liverpool FC have requested a GAA club's jersey to pay tribute to Sean Cox, the Irish fan who was seriously injured in an assault outside Anfield stadium.
Sean Cox is now in a critical condition at Walton Neurological Centre after suffering an unprovoked attack before Liverpool's Champions League semi-final first leg victory at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
Filippo Lombardi, 20, has been charged with violent disorder and wounding and inflicting grievous bodily harm, Merseyside Police said in a statement.
The two men will appear in court later on Thursday. Daniele Sciusco was charged with violent disorder.
