Sony EXTRA BASS Wireless Speakers Launched in India, starting at Rs. 7990

The new products launched today include WF-SP700N, WI-SP600N, WI-SP500, WI-C300, WH-CH400 and WH-CH500 headphones, and SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31 and SRS-XB21 Extra Bass speakers. With World's truly first wireless noise cancelling headphones, WF-SP700N is combined with digital noise cancelling technology and splash-proof design. All of these headphones come with Bluetooth connectivity, NFC and are optimized for use with Google Assistant. Boasting of Sony's Extra Bass feature, these portable speakers are rated IP67 and are water- and dust-proof. They come with arc supporters and fit in a one-touch-open charging case that is said to charge the earphones in 1.5 hours that can last for approximately 3 hours.

The wireless speaker range starts at Rs 13,990 for the SRS-XB41, Rs 9,990 for the XB31 and Rs 7,990 for the XB21.

WI-SP600N and WI-SP500 These wireless in-ear headphones boast of the same digital noise cancelling and sound quality technology and the same level splash-proof rating as the WF-SP700N.

The most impressive feature is the Wireless Party Chain, which enables users to connect up to 100 such speakers to each other, with synchronised music and lights. The WI-SP600N and the WI-SP500 are sports headphones with their earpieces connected by a neckband. The SP600N comprises of noise cancelation, IPX4 certification for waterproofing, and six hours of claimed battery life.

Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony has unveiled its lineup of audio products in India for 2018.

In the affordable range, the WH-CH300 is priced at Rs 2,990, the WH-CH500 is priced at Rs 4,990 and the WH-CH400 is priced at Rs 3,790. Sony is also introducing WI-C300, WH-CH400 and WH-CH500 as part of the revamped lineup in India. The three headphone models will be available from 15 May.

The company had released three new speakers alongside the new headphones- SRS-XB21, XB31 and XB41. These new wireless speakers are all about portability and durability along with Sony's trademark Extra Bass sound system. The WH-CH500 will be available from May 15, and is priced at Rs 4,990. Sony claims these speakers provide 24 hour battery life, and come equipped with multi-color line lights and flashing strobe lights for a festive appearance.
