The series, which debuted on SEGA's Dreamcast system in 1999, will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later this year. In the meantime though, Sega will be re-releasing Shenmue 1 and 2 on PC and current generation consoles. The death of the Dreamcast, though, was by and large the death of the planned four-game series, bar a port of the second game - though not, oddly, the first - to Microsoft's considerably more successful Xbox in 2002, and a pair of since-cancelled spin-off titles. It has also been revealed that lots of graphical improvements will be making their way into these Shenmue games, but bear in mind that they will not be full on HD remakes or remasters. Shenmue 3 which is slated to be launched this year, was the result of a crowd-funding campaign, and is hence being published by Deep Silver instead of Sega. "This is the definitive version of these all-time classics and will be the best Shenmue experience to date".
While the games haven't been fully remastered from the ground-up as such, players will still be able to enjoy a bunch of new features, including a revamped user interface, modern control options, English and Japanese voice acting, and fully scalable screen resolution.
Sega claims its "original feature set" in terms of "jujitsu combat, investigative sleuthing, and RPG elements" will make a comeback in addition to "real-time open worlds that feel truly alive thanks to day-to- night cycles and weather changes, with a population of civilians who follow their own schedules".
BJP couriers toothbrush, paste to Dinesh Gundu Rao
DNA quoted Rao as saying that Adityanath was a "disgrace to Indian politics" and that if he had any "decency he should resign". The statements made by Dinesh Gundu Rao will only jeopardise the chances of Congress's victory further in the constituency.
