MAJOR X Factor overhaul this year could see all current judges AXED

Nicole Scherzinger'axed from X Factor with Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh'to follow

It's always been rumoured that Nicole might not return to the show, but sources are now claiming she's already been axed, and that Sharon and Louis aren't far behind.

"Nicole was a passionate judge but has no contract and won't be back this year in order to bring in fresh blood".

'Louis and Sharon are both contracted to return this year, but Simon and the producers have lost faith.

Favourites to replace the Pussycat Doll include former judge Cheryl, Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, Kylie Minogue and Mariah Carey.

The source didn't hold back, branding the pair "terrible on the panel a year ago". Louis has had a great run, but he's advertising hearing aids for God's sake. According to the Sun, show producers are considering cancelling Louis and Sharon's contracts for the next series, while pop stars including Craig David and Louis Tomlinson are among names to replace the trio. A source from the show confirmed to the publication that there are "no plans for Nicole to return to The X Factor this year" but Sharon or Louis could still return. Other announcements about the judging line-up will be made in due course.

Dermot recently told Metro.co.uk: 'I had a meeting with the X Factor bosses last week. However, the show source told The Sun it may not be that easy to axe Louis or Sharon as they both are contracted for the series.

Craig David and Louis Tomlinson are being lined-up to fill the male vacancy on the panel.

Louis Walsh is good mates with Simon and has been brought back to the show following a sacking on two separate occasions, but it looks like he is now on his way out.

Earlier this year, bookmakers suspended betting on Cheryl - who has been on the show twice previously from 2008 until 2010 and then in 2014 and 2015 - making a return to The X Factor after it was reported she was "in talks" with show bosses.

'X Factor' fans had a lot to talk about this weekend, with reports claiming that big changes are coming to the show's judging panel.

"It is possible either Sharon or Louis could still return because both have contracts".
