LaVar Ball has pulled his two sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo out of Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas after yet another tiff with coach Virginijus Seskus, according to Lithuanian reporter Donatas Urbonis of 15min.
LiAngelo, who became a leading scorer in the LKL, had missed time recently due to an ankle injury, but LaMelo had not seen much playing time in top-league LKL action, angering LaVar.
Lithuania is about to say goodbye to the traveling road show that is the Ball family. LiAngelo, 19, declared for the 2018 NBA Draft late last month.
LaVar told Urbonas he was happy with Lithuania as a whole and the people as well as the BC Vytautas organization, but he "just didn't get along with the coach". LaMelo likely will sign with another professional team, where he undoubtedly hopes he'll continue developing until he's ready to begin his own National Basketball Association journey. "Coach ruined everything and he'll have to pay the price that Melo is not coming back", he said.
According to Bleacher Report, in 14 games with Vytautas, not counting the Big Baller Brand Challenge exhibition games, LiAngelo averaged 12.6 points per game, which ranked second on the team, while shooting 41.5% from three-point range.
