Commonwealth Games 2018: Batra wins historic TT Women's Singles Gold
On April 13, Manika Batra and Mouma Das had clinched the silver medal in women's doubles category at the 21st Commonwealth Games.
Manika and Sathiyan put up a solid amalgamation of spin and powerful attack as they defeated their more experienced compatriots 3-0 (11-6, 11-2, 11-4). In table tennis, India have won a total of 7 medals (3 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze).
The Indian foxed Feng for the second time in a row with smart use of her pimpled rubber for both defense and offense.
