In the 248 plan of BSNL, the state-run telecom operator is offering whooping 153GB 3g/4G data to its users.
Furthermore, the company has introduced a cricket season prepaid pack which will allow users to access 102 GB data at Rs 251 for 51 days. It has launched a pack from which the cricket enthusiasts will benefit.
In a related development, leading network carrier Airtel launched a new Airtel TV app with access to live IPL matches on both Apple iOs and Google's Android mobile platforms. Jio plan also offers free calls (not mentioned in the plan but all plans of Jio comes bundled with free calls so it can be expected). Here are the full details of the BSNL IPL Prepaid plan 248.
A statement by the telco says, "BSNL presents IPL pack Unlimited data STV-248 for prepaid mobile customers which give unlimited data (3 GB data per day) with validity of 51 days during period of IPL cricket match".
However, BSNL prepaid users can not consume the entire 153 GB of data in a day, as this pack comes with an FUP limit of 3 GB data per day. Users are entitled to get 3GB per day with high-speed 4G support, but beyond the cap, the speed reduces to 81 Kbps. Although BSNL does not have 4G connectivity in all circles but in Kerala BSNL 4G is available. It will be available on a pan India basis.

This is the first-of-its-kind cricket pack launched by BSNL starting from April 7, 2018, to April 30, 2018. Well, as a part of the Jio Cricket Festival, Reliance Jio has announced its Jio Cricket Season Pack. BSNL users will have to settle down with the 3G data in this pack. But, unlike BSNL's IPL Pack which offers 3G data, Jio offers 4G data.
