Beyoncé made history this weekend at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival ― and her fans were having a collective meltdown.
Beyoncé made the historically epic moment with her rocking performance at Coachella on April 14, Saturday - her first highly anticipated headlining performance since welcoming twin babies Sir and Rumi in June - as she was joined by her former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
From the song selection to the choreography, to the surprising reunion, and more, Beyonce stood out with her performance. The girl group sang their hit singles "Lose My Breath", "Say My Name", and "Soldier". As reported by Harper's Bazaar, the singer caught the strap that was holding her top just in time to prevent a public "nip slip".
Beyonce thanked the Coachella for booking her to perform and said, "Thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline Coachella". While she was checking her top, her boots too fell down.
For the people who don't know what is Coachella, it is a music festival in Indio, California and the singer opened her long-anticipated performance singing insane in Love. Fans who had noticed the wardrobe malfunction lauded Beyonce's professionalism and praised her on social media. The Hollywood singer also faced a wardrobe malfunction while performing on one of the dance routines. She even performed "Lift Every Voice and Sing", known as the national black anthem. One of the most memorable costumes that Beyonce wore that night would have to be her flowing golden Egyptian-themed costume, which wowed the crowd during the show.
