Booker knocked down four 3-pointers to account for almost half of his 30 points for the Suns, who have lost 14 of their last 15 games.

Russell Westbrook had 27 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, Paul George added 21 and Steven Adams had 16 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George (13) is fouled by Phoenix Suns guard Josh Jackson, left, as he shoots during the first half of an NBA basketball game in Oklahoma City, Thursday, March 8, 2018. He had 39 last week in Arizona in a loss to the Thunder.

The Suns shot just 33.7 percent for the game and hit only 9 of their 37 3-point attempts.

With just over three minutes to go in the third and the Thunder holding a commanding 18-point lead, Ferguson guarded rookie Suns guard Shaquille Harrison as he cut to the basket for a bounce pass from center Alex Len. Westbrook had a 7-0 run of his own in third to push the lead to 22 points.

Even as he works through his freshman inconsistency, though, Ferguson's an important piece for a Thunder team that's gone.500 since February 1, that's in the middle of a dogfight for playoff positioning in the crowded Western Conference, and that can ill afford more injuries on the wing after losing starting swingman Andre Roberson for the year. Nick Collison played in his 11th game of the season, earning a thunderous applause when he scored twice late in the fourth quarter. Following the game there was good news, as the Suns announced that an MRI on Jackson's knee revealed no structural injury.

Especially with the Thunder needing every win they can muster, doing without a rotation player for an extended period of time would be unfortunate, but the team will have to wait and with regard to Ferguson. Josh Jackson started in his place, scoring six points. T.J. Warren missed the game because of back spasms.
