Sonam Kapoor-Dulquer Starrer “The Zoya Factor” to Release on April 5 Next Year

Earlier, certain reports had surfaced that Dulquer Salmaan have given the nod for his second venture in Bollywood and the actor would team up with Sonam Kapoor in the upcoming film Zoya Factor. It will be the first time when Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan will be seen sharing the screen space together.

Malayalam hero Dulquer Salmaan is busy these days with projects in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. She tweeted, "Super happy to be a part of this unique story #ZoyaFactor an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's bestseller". Reportedly, the actor will be seen playing a character named Nikhil in the movie. Introducing "The Zoya Factor", a movie based on Anuja Chauhan's bestseller.

The first look poster of Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Zoya Factor has been unveiled by the makers on Tuesday.

Unveiling the poster, Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salman took to Twitter and expressed their excitement to work in the movie.

As per the book, Dulquer's character hails from the north, in the film, he will be from the south. She was the first person that came to my mind as she's as bubbly as Zoya.

The film directed by Abhishek Sharma will be jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Adlabs Films.

The screenplay has been penned by Neha Rakesh Sharma, and the dialogues are written by Pradhuman Singh. Anuja Chauhan's The Zoya Factor traces the story of a PR executive, Zoya Solanki, who was born at the moment when India lifted the 1983 World Cup. When they win the match that day, the team, as well as the media, believe that Zoya is a lucky charm.
