Who can forget - Naina barse rimjhim, Lag Ja Gale se, two of the most celebrated songs of all time?

Popular psychological thriller, Woh Kaun Thi? featuring yesteryear diva Sadhana and veteran actor Manoj Kumar, is set to get a remake. Prernaa Arora's KriArj has mastered itself on how to serve a content-driven film with the commercial touch. The actor is now shooting for "Batti Gul Meter Chalu" and looks like the actor has actor bagged in one more film with Prernaa Arora's production house. After this project, he is committed to doing two more films with the studio. When Deccan Chronicle quizzed her about which actress she would like to see lip sync the songs in the remake, the veteran singer said, "The melodies of Woh Kaun Thi were the soul of the theme". The film was directed by Raj Khosla and starred Manoj Kumar and Sadhana. Known for the handsome storyline and memorable songs, Woh Kaun Thi became a hit back in the day.

However, when the tabloid asked about Shahid's casting in the film Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment told them, "It's too early to talk about the cast. We are just at the starting point". "This is the mark of respect and a tribute to them and the kind of film we had in that era", Arora told PTI in a statement. Shahid Kapoor was last seen in "Padmaavat" and now he's filming Batti Gul Meter Chalu with co-star Shraddha Kapoor.
