The Samsung Care authorized service locations will provide front and back screen replacements, battery replacements, port and camera repairs, and other in and out-of-warranty support services. Samsung wants to make the process a little more convenient.
Reaching the "majority of the continental United States population", these 371 certified Samsung Care locations are spread across "all major USA metro areas", welcoming walk-ins, as well as appointments for blazing fast repairs. It won't be free in that case, of course, but Samsung says all repairs from an authorized uBreakiFix store will be warranted for at least 90 days.
The authorization means the locations will have access to Samsung parts and proprietary fix tools.
As noted above, you can have your device fixed at any of the 300 already-existent uBreakiFix locations, with Samsung planning to help build 200 additional ones by the end of the year. The phones range from the S6 and Note 5 through the S9 and Note 8. "This announcement marks a fundamental shift in our care offerings to consumers and underscores our commitment to provide Samsung customers with support anywhere, anytime our customers need it".
In a press release Samsung advises device phones to schedule an appointment via its own website and then take it along to their nearest uBreakiFix location.
One of the main reasons why iPhone owners are very loyal to Apple is because they can walk right into an Apple Store and get anything fixed on their device.
