Kevin Federline still after Britney Spears' fortune

Kevin Federline still after Britney Spears’ fortune

According to TMZ, K-Fed called Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, and said he's in a financial bind and wants to talk about raising his child support.

Sources have told the website that Jamie received a letter from Kevin's lawyer asking for a meeting and when they did, Jamie wanted to know why Kevin needed more money and asked what the children needed that they now weren't getting.

Their current settlement sees Federline getting a $20,000 child support check for sons Jayden and Sean.

A month after Kevin Federline unsuccessfully pleaded with Britney Spears and her father, Jamie, for more child support, it appears he's giving it another go. He is now getting $20,000 a month. TMZ says Federline's argument is that Spears can bring in more money than he can with her successful Vegas shows. When they had their meeting, his attorney said that Britney and Federline's kids (12-year-old Sean and 11-year-old Jayden) are older now so he needs more than that.

Jamie asked what the kids needed that Federline could not provide, but Federline's attorney did not reply. Instead, he said his client needed money to take care of the boys at the same level that Britney was. Jamie fired back. Britney's taking care of the kids the way she always did - nothing's changed.

The lawyer also pointed out the success of Britney's recent Las Vegas residency and her subsequent increase in income, but Jamie hit back saying that has nothing to do with the children's needs and that his daughter isn't responsible for looking after Kevin and his other four children.

Along with the $20,000 a month Spears sends her ex-husband, she gave him $1.3 million in their 2007 divorce. He then got spousal support for years and still gets child support.
