Janhvi Kapoor trolled for posting b'day pics

Mumbai Boney Kapoor with his daughter Khushi seen on the truck carrying mortal remains of Sridevi during the funeral procession in Mumbai

It was her first birthday without her mother and within ten days of Sridevi's death, dictators expected her to mourn and cry the loss instead of celebrating her birthday.

Others accompanying the bereaved husband were- MP Amar Singh, fashion designer Manish Malhotra and cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal, who represented the state government.

Not just Janhvi, but the other Kapoors who were with her on her 21st birthday - Khushi, Sonam and Rhea Kapoor, Shanaya, Jahaan and Anshula Kapoor - were also trolled for sharing the birthday photos on social media. Nobody is asking them to be sad and crying all the time.

Such comments are not restricted to Sonam's post but also arrived in plenty on photos Instagrammed by Anshula and Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor's wife). "They cut cakes for Janhvi and sang the birthday song".

Boney earlier penned a heartfelt tribute to Sridevi. I would like to express my honest gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who have stood by us like rocks. "Working with an icon I always called her "Ma'am" and that was a turning point in my career, as it was the beginning of many associations and a longstanding friendship beyond work".

"Dhadak" will see Kapoor opposite Ishaan Khatter.

Sridevi died due to accidental drowning on February 24 in a hotel in Dubai where she was attending her nephew Mohit Marwah's marriage.
