Heather Locklear evades felony charges after being 'combative, flailing, kicking' at police

Heather Locklear Will Escape Felony Charge In Domestic Violence Arrest

Although the Melrose Place alum hasn't been charged with domestic violence following her late February arrest, the blonde industry vet has been hit with multiple other charges.

Ventura County's Senior Deputy District Attorney Thomas Dunlevy couldn't immediately confirm the dismissal of charges but said Locklear is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.

Locklear, 56, who is now in treatment at a medical facility, became belligerent with officers and was allegedly "combative, flailing, kicking" at officers as they tried to take her into custody.

The D.A. has charged Heather with four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer.

She'll no longer face charges related to allegedly battering her boyfriend, People confirmed.

The deputies did not observe any injuries on Locklear, but the "Dynasty" star claimed she was hurt and visited a hospital before her booking at Ventura County jail a little after 1 a.m. the next day, authorities said.

Sheriff's officials said Locklear kicked, pushed and shouted at deputies who were answering a report that she had been violent with her boyfriend February 26.

Heather also screamed, "You f****** deserve your kids to die! And when you find yourself in that position, think of me!"

Locklear continued, reportedly saying that she hoped nobody would burn down the police department and telling officers they better never come to her home again. According to reports, Locklear has been slapped with FOUR counts of misdemeanor battery against an officer or emergency personnel.

The threat led to police executing a search warrant at the Thousand Oaks home.

In 2008, she pleaded guilty to reckless driving after being arrested on suspicion of the more serious charge of driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
