Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend St Patrick's Day Irish Guards parade

GETTYKate Middleton Prince George and Princess Charlotte have to follow a royal rule at mealtimes

Prince William and heavily pregnant Kate braved rain and icy weather watch a traditional St Patrick's Day parade of the Irish Guards.

She might nearly be ready to give birth, but Kate Middleton isn't letting that slow her down.

The royal pair enjoyed the annual Irish Guards St. Patrick's Day Parade at the Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow, England, earlier on Saturday, and as you can see (above), a pint of Guinness draft beer was enjoyed... by William!

Topping off her look, the 36-year-old - who is mom to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2 - added a Gina Foster Meribel beret hat, Kiki McDonough diamond earrings featuring green tourmaline and amethyst and her go-to black suede Tod's pumps.

William and Kate will escape the cold by finishing their visit at the Guardsman's lunch, where the longest-serving guardsman is to propose a toast to the royals and thank the duchess for presenting the shamrock.

The brunette beauty, who is expecting her third child with William next month, handed sprigs of shamrocks to officers and warrant officers, and met with their mascot, Irish Wolfhound Domhnall.
