Dota Plus is a monthly subscription service for Valve's MOBA

Valve adds optional 'Plus' paid subscription to free-to-play Dota 2

Dota Plus will act as a upgraded version of the game's ongoing battle pass, and is available now.

Valve has unveiled a new subscription-based Dota 2 service called Dota Plus, "an evolution of the Battle Pass" that will replace the Majors Battle Passes with an ongoing service that will be regularly updated with new features and content.

The collective knowledge of the Dota community is vast, and every day, in millions of games played around the world, it grows. Weekly rewards, a Plus Assistant that gives you access to data-driven item, hero, and ability suggestions, post-game and real-time analytics, and other perks come packaged in with your monthly subscription. "You can unlock Relics for any hero by using Reward Shards, and when you unlock multiple Relics, they all track simultaneously".

Furthermore, Dota Plus grants a new weekly reward of 1,000 shards for winning three games.

But the real hook for serious players will likely be the Plus Assistant, a multi-function toolset that will offer hero, item and ability suggestions to help optimize builds. There'll also be skill-based challenges to complete, and the Plus Assistant, which will gather data from different skill brackets to keep builds constantly up to date. The assistant will also give advice on what hero to choose, depending on which ones have been picked, as well as which lanes to focus on with said hero to be most effective. "Better understand your playstyle by using new graphs and analysis tools both during the match and after it's finished". The tickets for non-subscribers are $0.99. In the past, these have taken the form of limited-time compendiums that centered around major Dota 2 esports tournaments, including The International and Majors.

Dota 2 is now available for PC. For the monthly price of $3.99 United States dollars you can also track in-game progress, select a challenge before the game (with these challenges refreshed every two weeks), and make use of the Hero Chat Wheel, allowing you to choose phrases for your hero to say.
