A baby-sitter has been arrested and is facing charges after authorities say she so badly abused a 3-year-old girl that the child is now hospitalized with brain damage. Above is a representational image of a child.
In a 911 call, Partin told a dispatcher that Hannah "just passed out" after being dropped off at her home.
"I think she fought the best that she could which is all we can ask, and I think God just has a better plan for her and I know she is in a better place and she is not suffering", Latham said.
"The little girl. She's 3. She was fine and then all of sudden this morning she walked in and she passed out, limp".
'Are you with her now?'
"Yes, Hurry she's bad. She does not deserve to be where she's at right now".
When detectives arrived they found Hannah unresponsive, struggling to breathe and with bruises on her head and face, Butler CountySheriff Richard Jones said Monday.
The girl was transported to Fort Hamilton Hospital before being transferred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
At the hospital detectives and hospital personnel noted additional bruising on the child's body.
"I mean it unimaginable". I don't understand why or how anyone harms a child'.
Though the Wesche's condition is uncertain, Latham said the family will continue to encourage her to keep fighting. Get background checks, talk to neighbors, friends, and family members before letting anyone watch your children.
