1 killed in shooting at Plant City business, sources tell News Channel 8

Those sources say one person is being held in the case, but we do not know if that's the suspect of if the person is simply being held for questioning.

"There had been an ongoing dispute over being on this property for the last several weeks", Lusczynski said.

A relative of the two men heard the shots, ran inside and shot Bliss, Lusczynski said. The family member entered the office and subsequently shot Bliss.

One of the wounded men was living and working on the property but had been asked to leave, Lusczynski said. He was in an office at the company at about 4 p.m. Monday having a discussion with two men, when detectives said he shot both men.

Bliss died at the scene.

Police are at the scene and an investigation is now underway.

Police and other emergency services in Florida are responding to a shooting at Bliss Enterprises in Plant City, local officials and witnesses say.

The relative who shot Bliss is reportedly cooperating with authorities. It was not known if the person who shot Bliss will face criminal charges. Bliss also has numerous arrests in Hillsborough County for crimes that include multiple arrests for domestic violence, battery, and assault.

The victims, ages 44 and 45, were transported to a hospital.

Bliss Enterprises is a family owned construction company that has been building barns since 1982.
