Popular Ugandan Musician, Mowzey Radio has been confirmed dead.
Celebrities from around the world including; Wizkid and the President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni who was said to have donated $8,300 (£5,800) towards his medical bills have sent their condolences.
According to, the singer was allegedly beaten into a coma at a popular hang out spot in Entebbe town, south of the capital Kampala.
Mowzey radio was one of the musicians who composed the Tubonga Nawe in support of President Museveni during the 2016 elections campaign. He was a talented young person with a great future ahead of him.
Local media report that five people have been arrested in connection with Mowzey Radio's death.
