Real Madrid coach Zidane denies wanting Isco sold

Transfer report Real Madrid believe it will be easier to sign Thibaut Courtois than David de Gea in the summer

ZINEDINE ZIDANE will reportedly sell star playmaker Isco if he remains in charge of Real Madrid this summer.

The only competition left for Real this season is the Champions League and with Paris Saint-Germain as their opponents in the round of 16 it will not be an easy task for Los Blancos to retain their title.

While the likes of Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski have been mooted as possible signings, there have been suggestions that Isco could be on his way out of the club.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's LaLiga match against Real Sociedad, Madrid's head coach categorically denied this was the case.

"Today you're asking me about Isco, next day you'll be asking me about [Marco] Asensio and then about [Dani] Ceballos". My intention was to succeed here, in the team that put their trust in me when I was at Malaga.

Klopp opted against dipping in to the market for an attacker last month but he'll nearly certainly sign at least one new attacking midfielder this summer and is seems Isco is on his radar. He a very good footballer. "That will not change", he told reporters at Friday's press conference.

"We have 25 players and everyone is important". "I get asked this question by you, by somebody else - why Isco?". The most complicated thing for me is to make the line-up.

"I have to pick a team". There are many games and I will count on everyone.

"These questions are common".

"He was my idol when I was a child, I have seen thousands of videos about him and now he is the manager of one of the best clubs in the world, so yes, it is a luxury [to hear his praise]".

Asensio has started just 10 times in La Liga for Madrid this season, scoring four times and registering a further four assists.
