Morgan out, England bat first

Australia outplay England to cruise into T20 tri-series final

Australian opener Aaron Finch was cleared to return from a hamstring injury, with Travis Head out of the side.

Australia are hosting England and New Zealand for a T20I series and the hosts have displayed a tremendous form in the first two ODIs against New Zealand and England.

The tri-series shifts to Wellington on Tuesday when New Zealand hosts England.

But selectors have opted to stick with the bowling attack that orchestrated a stunning England collapse of 7-43. Paul Collingwood's 46 off 26 balls was England's top score that day.

"It's just the grounds and the situations we've got ourselves in probably that make it a little bit different in Australia". A win here will give them a spot in the final.

But the English boast some serious firepower, with the likes of Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler and David Willey all capable of a match-turning innings.

New Zealand squad: Kane Williamson (c), Trent Boult, Mark Chapman, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Anaru Kitchen, Colin Munro, Mitchell Santner, Tim Seifert, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, Ben Wheeler.

In total England and Australia have met each other 15 times in T20s, with five wins for England, eight for the Aussies, one no result and one abandoned game.

The end of the summer of cricket is nigh, as Australia host England at the MCG in the last global match on the continent for eight months.
