The open beta phase for Metal Gear Survive is now underway and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it.
The beta features three missions set across two maps, which can be played cooperatively with up to four players. While I only got to check out the cooperative multiplayer portion of Metal Gear Survive, there is a fully fledged single-player component.
Available on all platforms, the beta will run through February 18, 2018 and allow PC players to experience game's co-op mode for the first time before launch. Unlike other games in the franchise, "Metal Gear Survive" has a much stranger premise of a group of soldiers getting transported to an alternate dimension filled with these zombie-like enemies.
Beta participants will earn in-game bonus items which will be made available upon the game's official release.
・Experience the CO-OP mode in which up to 4 players team up and fight together.
If you missed out on the previous Metal Gear Survive beta, you have one more chance to try the Metal Gear spin-off out ahead of its release next week. There's also a selection of daily missions to get out in, if you so choose.
Konami has come under a lot of controversy for releasing this spin-off title from fans beloved Metal Gear series which was originally created by Hideo Kojima (who was sacked from Konami). After the first beta weekend, players flocked to social media to "out" how bad the game felt, and how it had no vision.
