The man accused of plotting to kidnap singer Lana Del Rey from her performance at Amway Center in Orlando chanted during a police interview and said he planned to go to the "afterlife". Orlando Police said officers arrested 43-year-old Michael Shawn Hunt of Riverview on Friday night outside the Amway Center where she was performing.
According to news station "WESH 2", Hunt was originally charged with Attempted Kidnapping and Aggravated Stalking with a Credible Threat, however a Florida judge took out the Attempted Kidnapping charge after reading over the arrest paperwork made by police.
Hunt has a lengthy prior record, including 61 felony convictions and five prison sentences, the Orlando Sentinel reported, and had a knife and a Del Rey concert ticket in his possession when he was apprehended.

After her concert, Del Rey posted on Twitter that she was "doing fine" and that she is excited for her next tour date in Atlanta.
On Wednesday he posted a rambling video about his plans for their "relationship". I won't need them. After the incident, Del Rey posted on Twitter that she was "fine".
"OPD officers came into contact with Hunt at Hughey Avenue and Central Boulevard on Friday evening, one block from the Amway Center".
