Kellyanne Conway: Trump's Accusers 'Have Had Their Day'

Trump mentioned his concerns about due process in a tweet after White House staff secretary Rob Porter and speechwriter David Sorensen resigned amid abuse allegations against the two. "He also has full confidence in Hope Hicks as communications director and long-serving aide". There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone.

Cecilia Vega, ABC's senior White House correspondent, said, "We're back in the early days of this Trump administration in terms of chaos land". Pawlenty leaving Wall Street group Pawlenty departing Wall Street group as campaign rumors swirl Bachmann won't run for Franken's Senate seat because she did not hear a "call from God" MORE (D-Minn.) to resign due to sexual misconduct allegations, was also one of several Democratic senators who late a year ago said Trump should resign due to sexual misconduct allegations that surfaced during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Gillibrand has always been a champion in the fight against sexual harassment, even publicly reporting her own experiences being harassed by fellow lawmakers in 2014. And in doing so, she claimed something flat-out false about Democratic Sen. Al Franken (MN) to resign last fall. If he wants due process for the over dozen sexual assault allegations against him, let's have Congressional hearings tomorrow. She later responded in a tweet that she would "not be silenced".

Aides to Donald Trump, especially Kellyanne Conway, made the rounds of the Sunday talk shows to address allegations of domestic violence by recently fired White House staffers - and sounded pretty tone-deaf. He tweeted in December that Gillibrand begged for donations and "would do anything for them" after she called on him to resign.

"Those accusers have had their day on your network and elsewhere for a long time".

When asked on "60 Minutes" why it took until late past year to call for Trump to be held accountable, Gillibrand said "something changed" when he was elected, "and I think it changed for women".

The president's tweet prompted Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to weigh in yesterday, something "This Week" host Stephanopoulos inquired about to Conway. "I don't need a lecture from her or anybody else".

Conway brushed off Gillibrand's criticism by invoking President Bill Clinton's indiscretions with women and late '90s impeachment.

If anything, Conway's retort shines light on the fact that the accusations against Clinton were actually investigated. She also derisively claimed Trump's multiple sexual assault accusers had their due process when they were "trotted out" during the 2016 election.
