Carson Wentz announces engagement to girlfriend Maddie

Carson Wentz girlfriend

The Eagles quarterback, who was sidelined at the Super Bowl because of an ACL tear, proposed to his girlfriend and proudly proclaimed, "Now Maddie and I both got us a ring". Foles and his wife brought their first child into the world this year and you can tell that she's Nick's pride and joy.

Winning a ring may have prompted Carson Wentz to give one away. "God is doing some unbelievable things and I can't thank him enough!" Although an injury kept him out of the Super Bowl, his teammates delivered a thrilling victory over the Patriots - and now he's getting married.

Wentz also shared photos of his proposal to Oberg on Twitter.

Wentz previously shared a glimpse inside his romance with a Christmas Day snap of the pair decorating gingerbread cookies, and a shot of Oberg by his side when he was hospitalized earlier in December for surgery to fix a torn ACL.
