Asus ZenFone 5 live image leaked; looks identical to iPhone X

Asus Zenfone 5 leaked image

Based on the previously leaked schematics, the two phones will sport a tall display, possibly in the new 18:9 fashion. ASUS is expected to unveil a slew of ZenFone 5 series smartphones at MWC, and, more than a week ago, an image of the ZenFone 5 Lite, which is expected to go official at MWC, had leaked online.

It's only a week more before the MWC embarks on to give us the biggest stars of this year in the smartphone market.

Having said that, this leaked live image of what's allegedly the ZenFone 5 shows off the design of the phone that's in-line with the sketch of the ZenFone 5 (attached above) that leaked earlier. It offers unusual 2246 x 1080 pixels resolution, might be due to the notch. It will come with an iPhone X style notch at the top and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo-based ZenUI out of the box.

It's still, however, unsure whether this is, in fact, the rumored Zenfone 5 primarily because that is expected to be launched in the mid-range segment. On the back, the upcoming ZenFone 5 series handset is likely to feature a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

The sketch also reveals a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the phone that's flanked by a 3.5 mm headphone jack, microphone and speaker. The display could be an AMOLED panel, considering the narrow bezels. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.
