PWInsider is reporting that the one and only "Mean" Gene Okerlund will be appearing on the 25th anniversary show on Monday, January 22.
If a report from The Sun is to is be believed, the WWE hierarchy is now in talks with the likes of The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin to make a return to the grand arena for the 25th anniversary of RAW.
The Texas Rattlesnake - an icon of the 1990s and 2000s - has only had bit-part appearances with the company since departing in 2004. He became a favorite around the globe, so his sensational return will certainly be anticipated by many wrestling fans.
Multiple sources have confirmed Bischoff's return to the flagship show for the first time since the 15th Anniversary of Raw where the former authority figure was confronted by Chris Jericho in a throwback to the post-match segment from 2005 when Bischoff fired Jericho for not defeating John Cena for the WWE Championship. "Stars from throughout the red brand's quarter-century history will be joining in on the celebration in NY. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the cornerstone of the Attitude Era and one of the most iconic Superstars in its history".
Austin will be joined by a host of legends and icons from throughout RAW's history at the one-off show in Brooklyn, New York.
Amongst them will be The Undertaker, who appeared to retire from WWE following his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 a year ago in Orlando, Florida.
We already know Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn will be there, so a D-Generation X reunion is practically a guarantee.
Additionally, Austin's confirmed appearance opens the possibility of revisiting several rivalries from his long career.
