Lucknow (U.P.), Jan 11 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to revolutionary and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in Lucknow on his death anniversary on Thursday. A death mystery unsolved till date. Why? He died on this day in 1966 in Tashkent after signing Tashkent Agreement on 10th January, 1966. Was it a heart attack or poison?
Asked about the roles of Chakraborty and Shah in the film, Agnihotri told PTI, "They are playing two power centres".
"A film on the biggest cover-up of a free India required that we work with great actors with credibility". The story is a crowd-sourced idea. "I received a lot of emails, which helped me do thorough research on the project".
Talking about the casting of the movie, Vivek adds, "Both Naseer and Mithun are powerhouses and were obvious choices for the film". This film also brings them together onscreen after a long time.
Renowned as "Man of Peace", Lal Bhadar Shastri was the second Prime Minister of the Indian Republic. "I was sure that I didn't want to rope in a star for commercial reasons". The director has stated that this is the most researched work on Shastri and it is the most apolitical film about a political leader. The film goes on floor next week.
