In a statement, she said: "I apologise unreservedly for the shocking language I used".
Following the incident, Marney apologized for her comments and said that they were taken out of context.
The MEP said: "For some time now it has appeared that Henry Bolton and the story he is giving - not just about the personal issues, but about his dealings with other members of the party, about some of the things he said during the leadership election - it would appear there are inconsistencies".
Ms Marney's suspension from the party comes as Mr Bolton faces an investigation by senior UKIP officials into his private life that may have consequences for his future as party leader.
He said he would step down as a Ukip spokesman if Mr Bolton, who was elected leader last September, "insists on prolonging this agony".
Since the abhorrent nature of the texts were revealed, Marney has been suspended from UKIP.
"Her words were blatantly racist and there should be no room for that in UKIP", wrote 16-year-old Jack Penny on Twitter.
"UKIP does not, has not and never will condone racism", he told the MoS. Bolton's may also be suspended from Ukip following a series of investigations.
She added: "The opinions I expressed were deliberately exaggerated in order to make a point and have, to an extent, been taken out of context".
Earlier this month, Mr Bolton announced in a letter to UKIP supporters that he had started a relationship with Ms Marney after splitting from his wife, but denied a "clandestine affair".
"I have disappointed them all and let myself down".
"No offence was intended and, again, I apologise unreservedly for any such offence or hurt that my messages have caused to members of the public, members of Ukip my friends, family and loved ones".
"He is already facing criticism about his relationship with Ms Marney after claims he misled the party about his marriage split with his 42-year-old wife, by whom he has two young children".
Ukip's National Executive Committee is set to meet on Thursday to decide the party leader's fate.
