Ryu And Sakura Collaboration Costumes Revealed For Monster Hunter

Xbox Players Blame Lack of Betas for Monster Hunter World Multiplayer Issues

Both costumes will be attainable via in-game event quests, and those who own Street Fighter V will have early access to those missions.

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter: World players will be able to transform their characters into Street Fighter's Ryu and Sakura via special quests akin to "Teachings of the Wild" for Horizon Zero Dawn's Aloy.

First up: a quick reminder these are full sets of armor that have to be equipped as one single entry and can not be mixed with other armor pieces. Capcom likes these types of crossovers-it has mixed the two franchises together in the past, and it's already said that Mega Man is also coming to Monster Hunter: World as a Palico, (essentially a companion to help you during quests), so this is no surprise. Having that save file will open up an option to complete an Event Quest called "Down the Dark, Muddy Path".

At a later date, yet undetermined, all players will get two new Event Quests that will serve to unlock the sets of Ryu and Sakura. Those tickets are used to turn into the Smithy to unlock the Ryu armor set. The good news is that both Ryu and Sakura's sets can be equipped by male and female characters, and you can even change your voice to the ones from the fighting game.

These sweet, iconic premium gestures, along with Chat Stamp sets, will be available for purchase for everyone on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace.

Street Fighter V players will also be receiving some Monster Hunter World outfits soon as well, more on that seen in a separate blog post from Capcom.
