A Russian man, believed to be drunk, was detained after stealing an armoured personnel carrier and smashing it into a supermarket on Wednesday, reports said.
A thirsty thief wasn't subtle in his pursuit of wine, using an armored vehicle to crash into the front of a store in northern Russian Federation before running in and grabbing a bottle, reports say.
What we probably wouldn't do, however, is steal a snow-covered tank from a military training organisation and then ram-raid it into the side of a supermarket in order to steal said bottle.
He also crushed a Daewoo auto parked nearby, images showed.
It's still unclear how the man was able to steal the tank, and how he had the operational knowledge to drive the vehicle.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours when it is prohibited to sell alcohol, local news outlet HibInformreported.
He crashed into a auto in the northwestern town of Apatity before smashing into the store and grabbing a bottle of red wine from Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula annexed from Ukraine by Russian strongman Vladimir Putin in 2014, The Sun of the United Kingdom reported.
