LeBron slams controversial H&M picture

Мама ребенка из рекламы H&M отреагировала на скандал с лучшей обезьянкой

H&M's ad in which a black child was featured wearing a hoodie that reads, "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle", has generated so much buzz. "Busting it", said Terry Mango in one of the posts of the company, which was subsequently removed.

Black artists have stepped up to create new versions of a racist H&M ad after the brand drew criticism for a photo on its website. Spot the massive flaw in logic there. Do you agree with her? Mango said as she spoke with Gulf News.

"You can not try to defend my son and use the same words to describe me".

Comments made by a woman who appears to be the young model's mom have emerged on social media, and she's telling critics to let it go. She added, "This is one of hundreds of outfits my son has modeled... stop crying Wolf all the time, unnecessary issue".

"That's my son", Mango posted on Facebook in response to the debate. Get over it. That's my son, [I've] been to all photoshoots and this was not an exception. "But everyone is entitled to their opinion about it". I really don't understand but not [because I'm] choosing not to, but because it's not my way of thinking.

The photo of Liam modelling the hoody has certainly had a massive impact.

Several celebrities have taken note of this advertisement and shared their disappointment in H&M on Twitter and Instagram.

For me, I think the whole thing has been over stretched.

The Weeknd announced he was with the brand over the ad. Plies stepped in with a labeling H&M as shorthand for "Horrible Merchandise".

"We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image of a printed hooded top".

The company that made the shirt, H&M, pulled the advertisement down after numerous complaints, including celebrities who slammed the ad, such as National Basketball Association star LeBron James and music producer and artist, P Diddy. This is about common sense. We're deeply sorry that the picture was taken, and we also regret the actual print.
