JJ Abrams Sci-Fi Drama Series Shopped to Apple, HBO
Abrams has developed numerous television series in the past including "Lost", "Fringe" and "Alias". Sources say Apple and HBO - where Abrams serves as an EP on Westworld - are both in the running for the untitled drama, with producers Warner Bros. The company has also reached a deal with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and Comcast's NBCUniversal television production unit to make new episodes of ' Amazing Stories', a science fiction and horror anthology series that ran in the 1980s.

Hollywood and TV all-star J.J. Abrams is writing a new TV show and is now shopping it to networks, according to a report today from The Hollywood Reporter. The daughter finds herself in a odd new world facing a "monstrous, oppressive force' after rooting through her mother's experiments".
