Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced Monday the team's agreement to play 12 home games at Nassau Coliseum next season, with the other 30 taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The permanent New arena at Belmont isn't expected to open until the 2021-2022 season.
Gov. Cuomo, team officials, and the National Hockey League are scheduled to make an announcement at the Coliseum on Monday morning. "The coliseum will have some basic accommodations to meet the specifications of the commissioner".
Islanders splitting home games between Coliseum and Barclays Center
