"They will need to switch to a supported device to continue playing Pokemon GO".
Apple has released a new beta version of iOS for developer testing. iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 is now available on the developer center and over-the-air. Pokemon GO developer Niantic has announced an upcoming update that will incorporate Apple's ARKit, resulting in a more polished augmented reality experience, but bar devices unable to run iOS 11 from playing the game. This suggests that Apple is getting ready for the final release of iOS 11.2.5 and we suspect it may land early next week. The podcasts are supplied by The Washington Post, Fox News, CNN and NPR. So far, the only notable new feature is that Siri will play news-oriented podcasts when asking about current events.
The feature is said to only be accessible when users invoke Apple's digital assistant via voice and without looking at the display of their iOS device. Moreover, tapping the Home button to bring up Siri would show you Apple news headlines will be provided instead of the audio news highlights. The first four beta builds did not seem to have any. So what does the new beta 5 version of iOS 11.2.5 has in store for users?
Last month, IBT learned that the second beta of the upcoming update likely addressed the bug that made it impossible for testers to access the camera or camera roll and iMessage apps from non-iMessage conversations. There do not appear to be any more major new features in the latest beta of Apple's iOS. To install the new build on your registered device, head over to Settings General Software Update.
