India beat Pakistan by seven wickets in Blind Cricket World Cup

India skipper Ajay Reddy's all-round performance helped the in-form team beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the 5th Blind Cricket World Cup here on Saturday.

Being the defending champions of the coveted title, Blind Cricket World Cup, India have certainly lived up to the spirits of defending that honour so far in the tournament.

Magnificent Partnership between skipper Ajay Kumar Reddy and Sunil Ramesh ensured a smooth victory for India and continued to be on top position on the points table.

Batting first, Sri Lanka scored a mammoth 494-4 in their allotted 40 overs and packed Nepal for 154 runs in 33.4 overs.

In reply India chased 227 without losing a Wicket in 18.4 Overs.

Pakistan on the other hand defeated Bangladesh and Nepal in their first two matches.

AP boy Venkatesh swift 64 of 55 balls and electrifying 47 of Captain Ajay Reddy of 34 Balls finally guided the boys in blue home.ICC CEO David Richardson witnessed the match and was the chief guest for the Man of the Match Ceremony.

His opening companion Ramesh also laid out an absolute commanding effort with a great hundred in an aggressive manner hitting 17 boundaries on his way.
