The trailer is filled with wonderful one liners and quotes from the various talking heads, such a Hulk Hogan suggesting that Andre "was sports entertainment before there was Sports Entertainment" and also shows some of the famous imagery that gives us some sort of scale for how big The Giant really was. "You'll see behind the scenes stuff from 'The Princess Bride.' You'll see anecdotes that range from his career, a lot of things that I never knew about where Andre came from back in France, all the way through his career as he was traveling around, even before he became known under the moniker, 'The Giant.' It seems fairly obvious, but it came to him fairly late". That sounds like the recipe for a very fun film and as luck would have it, that's what we're getting in just a few months. The premium channel released a trailer for its upcoming documentary on pro wrestling's 8th Wonder of the World, "Andre the Giant".
The Bill Simmons' directed doco features interviews with some of wrestlings greatest stars, including Hulk Hogan, Jerry Lawler, Vince McMahon and Ric Flair, and features some special commentary from comedian Billy Crystal - along-time friend of Andre's.
