'Committed' Conte will not walk out on Chelsea

Reigning champions Chelsea host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge (3pm) while bottom-of-the-table Swansea have a trip to Newcastle. The Frenchman though has insisted that the East-Midlanders can be more than competitive but is expecting a tough clash.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of his side's Chelsea matchup, Leicester boss Claude Puel was questioned on the fitness of a number of the Foxes' stars, with the main focus on striker Jamie Vardy. Speculation about his future only seems to be spurring Mahrez on and he was good again today, looking unsafe every time he carried ball forward and causing Chelsea all sorts of problems. "Me and the club know very well this situation and for this reason we must have patience to understand there is a process and we are ready to face this process".

"Of course now he has more consistency in his game but always he is fantastic in his play and has the ability and capacity to make good penetration and give good assists".

The Foxes haven't won at Stamford Bridge since 2000.

After a weekend of FA Cup fixtures, the Premier League returns tomorrow for Gameweek 23. It is important to have a good balance in the team and have a good game time for the players.

"Against Liverpool we were leading until the 68th minute and we lost the game".

"If we just keep concentration on Eden, other players can make the difference also".

Antonio Conte had been wary of the Foxes and his concern proved well founded as the movement and energy of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki troubled Chelsea.

N'Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas are also expected to retain their places in midfield but if Conte goes with three-men in the middle of the park then I think we'll see Tiemoue Bakayoko come in for Danny Drinkwater.

Midfield: Davide Zappacosta is pushing for a recall but I think Victor Moses will keep his place in the right wing-back position while Marcos Alonso is nearly certain to start on the opposite flank.
