Bournemouth Fight Back to Shock Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday

Arsenal Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Callum Wilson equalized in the 70th minute for Bournemouth before setting up Jordon Ibe for the victor in the 74th minute, intensifying Arsenal's problems in what could be developing into another crisis under Arsene Wenger.

Hector Bellerin put Arsenal ahead shortly after half-time but Eddie Howe's side mounted an impressive comeback, scoring twice in five minutes through Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe.

In a goalless first period, Ainsley Maitland-Niles came closest for Arsenal, as he rattled the bar.

The goal came when Fraser and substitute Lys Mousset swapped passes down the right and Callum Wilson was in the right place to turn home the cross.

The Gunners lack of confidence in attacking areas was evident throughout the game with Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi looking timid whenever they got in and around the penalty area.

Arsenal return to action on Saturday with a Premier League home clash against Crystal Palace.

Jamie Redknapp has claimed Arsene Wenger's current team is the worst Arsenal side he has ever seen.

But after Arsenal's opener Bournemouth mounted pressure and nearly restored parity through Ibe who fired a tame shot which was saved by Petr Cech.

The break came at the wrong time for the hosts who found themselves behind soon after when Bellerin - set free by a superb Iwobi ball - fired through Begovic's hand.

The Gunners defeat means they are still yet to win in 2018, and have only take maximum points from three out of 12 Premier League fixtures this season.

Having won just one of their last five Premier League matches, Arsenal remain sixth with 39 points - five behind rivals Tottenham Hotspur in fifth.
